| Buskirk Restoration Inc. was formed in 1994. We provide antique furniture restoration services to individuals, dealers and institutions in California, Texas, Charleston, and the Southeast. We offer restorations and conservations of pre-1830 antique furniture, specializing in inlay repair and inlay reproduction. The exacting standards used in the shop will preserve original material and the historic value. Research and identification are integral in the process of examination and the treatment of each piece. Consulting services are available for potential purchases or existing collections. Russell’s years of vetting American furniture at the Winter Antique Show; interaction and involvement with MESDA, The Charleston Museum, and Historic Charleston Foundation and others assure confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy.
